Your people deserve better than an emergency hotline.
They deserve a cohesive preventative strategy.
Not all employee assistance programs are created equal.
Our innovative Proactive EAP model sets ambitious target usage rates. With the target set, we then go to work; educating, empowering, and encouraging staff and their immediate family members to take action before things get out of hand. This means vastly improved outcomes, minimised negative impact on your business and improved quality of life for your people.
The results so far: After partnering with us, our clients have seen EAP usage rates increase by between 350-660% in the 12 months. Of course, the popularity of our service wouldn’t continue if those seeking support didn’t experience positive outcomes; which is why we carefully select the counsellors we include in our network; ensuring that they are passionate, professional, and empathetic.
Ultimately, it all comes down to two factors; quality care and quality outcomes.
See the impact on your bottom line.
Any individual who uses our EAP has the option to complete a de-identified survey to quickly assess the impact their state of wellbeing is having on presenteeism, absenteeism, work engagement, workplace distress, and life satisfaction. We then follow-up with them after 90 days giving us a clear, quantifiable before-and-after shot from which you can quickly calculate the ROI for your business.
For those using our service, they can expect:
- 46% improvement in absenteeism.
- 26% improvement in presenteeism
- 7% improvement in work engagement
- 12% improvement in work distress
- 21% improvement in life satisfaction
Personal & Professional Development
“In times of change, learners inherit the earth, while the learned find themselves beautifully equipped to deal with a world that no longer exists.” ― Eric Hoffer
As part of MindWorks Australia’s proactive approach to supporting and developing employee wellbeing, we place a strong emphasis on training at all levels of organisations, whereby we deliver practical, usable tools that employees can take with them into the workplace.
Importantly, as no two organisations are the same, neither are our training courses. Through a combination of discussions with management and staff, along with on-the-ground environmental scans and online surveys we develop courses tailored specifically to the needs of our clients.
We know what makes people tick, and we can show you too. Employee engagement and performance begins here.
Mindfulness & Yoga
“Without the right state of mind, it is impossible to be at your best.”
Mindfulness meditation and yoga are now widely accepted as practical and effective drivers of workplace wellbeing. The evidence is clear that these practices rapidly decrease stress, as well as boost creativity, build confidence, willpower, and improve mental and physical health across the board.
At their core, both mindfulness and yoga are methods whereby we can consciously down-regulate our stress response system. With our stress under control, we have greater access to the parts of our brain that we need to think clearly, creatively, and consciously.
As with all our workshops, we tailor them to your business’ needs. Some of our most popular workshops are;
- Mindful Leadership
- Mindfulness at Work
- Yoga at Work
- Yoga for Trauma
Critical Incident Stress Debriefing
Despite all your best efforts, no business can guarantee that tragedy won’t strike.
At its worst a critical incident can be an on-site fatality, however, more commonly it can be the passing of colleague, or being witness to a traumatic event such as violence. Often, people are able to process these events in a timely manner and regain a sense of normalcy in their lives. However, for others it can deeply affect them.
Critical Incident Stress Debriefing (CISD) is a proven technique that allows us to help individuals and teams process the aftermath of trauma in a healthy and constructive manner; returning their lives to normal and getting them back to work sooner.

Frontline Mental Health Training
What will you do when you get the call?
Given that almost half your workforce will experience mental health challenges at some point in their lives , facing it is just a matter of time. However, most of us wouldn’t know what to say if someone said they were feeling depressed or having a panic attack. Leaders are no different – without the proper knowledge, they often give potentially harmful advice or, fearing the legal consequences, avoid the issue altogether.
Our Mental Health Training for Frontline Leaders provides participants with clear guidance on identifying early warning signs and practical skills to avoid the condition escalating. Equipped with these skills, they have the peace of mind mind in knowing that when the time comes for them to support their staff, their actions and advice are in-line with best practice.
If your teams are not performing to their potential, neither is your business. – Simple!
There is strength in diversity, but it requires understanding and effort to fully capitalise on it. All too often, differences in our habits of thought and behaviour cause friction and frustration with others. To complicate the situation, many of these habits are unconscious. Behavioural mapping is an elegant and powerful way to bring these differences into to the light and offer actionable insights.
Extended-DISC allows us to quickly assess entire teams, across hundreds of data points, indicating potential blind-spots as well as undiscovered strengths. It’s an eye-opening experience for participants and delivers instantly actionable steps for individuals and teams alike.
The last impression an employee has of your organisation will be the one that sticks.
Leaving an organisation and re-entering the job market is one of the most stressful moments in life. Our range of outplacement support services not only assist outgoing staff with the practical skills to find new work, but also the psychological skills to handle the transition.
What’s more, we work with the remaining team members to help them effectively prepare and manage the change.
